Viking Urnes carving

This is a reproduction of the carving on the Urnes Stave church in Luster, Norway. There’s no mistaking the beautiful flowing, curvy lines, of the Urnes viking style. The original carving, made of wood, dates back to the 12th century. And the church still stands till today!

Mine is HAND carved with NO power tools, to help give it that primitive real feel of an extremely old piece. It sits comfortably on a beautiful mahogany stand.

Made of Soapstone measuring 15.25” tall by 9” wide, and weighing 15 lbs. including the stand.
